We switch. I bait. Let me help you snag a date. All through college, Blanche Carter was known as the matchmaker. Her friends came to her for the perfect pick-up line for that cute guy in chemistry class--or the best zinger for that annoying frat boy. Now out of college and living in Washington DC, she´s parlayed her talent into a unique consulting business: she runs the online dating profiles of the Capitol´s most eligible women. Armed with a battalion of dating rules, Blanche is an expert at helping her clients meet the right man--and put their best foot forward on that first date. But although she´ll happily spend her days messaging handsome strangers (and fending off dick pics) on behalf of her clients, Blanche´s most important rule is the one she has for herself: no relationships. Blanche has seen too much heartbreak to believe in love anymore. When one of the most annoying men she knows--Henry, a friend of a friend with whom she always ends up getting into heated political arguments--shows up as one of her favorite clients´ possible matches, Blanche gamely messages him. But sparks fly in more ways than one, and Blanche quickly finds herself faced with an ethical dilemma--and possibly breaking her own rule about love...

Billierosie once again shows that she is a true master at writing hotter-than-hot BDSM erotica. Enslaving Eli is a must for fans of the genre! When Jasmine the beautiful dominant meets tall, hunky Eli at the dullest party in the world, Eli wants to see her again. He doesn´t understand her reluctance, they´ve had fun together and it isn´t as if he is asking her to marry him, just maybe a cup of coffee. When Jasmine tells Eli of her secret life, Eli is intrigued and gradually he is initiated into a world of BDSM that as Jasmine´s submissive, is impossible for him to walk away from. Jasmine tells Eli of a secret, exclusive organization, The Coterie. The Coterie is centuries old. Its members are dominant women; their ethos in life is total submission of the male. Eli endures humiliation, depravity and absolute control at the hands of Mistress Jasmine. But Eli and Jasmine are more than mistress and slave, they have fallen in love. When Mistress Jasmine is killed in a automobile accident, Eli is devastated. Officially, Eli now belongs to The Coterie. He is property. He is told that he is to be sold to another Mistress. Eli, however, has other ideas. This story explores a much under discussed orientation; that of the male submissive. Relinquishing control is not regarded as a masculine way to go about things. But in relinquishing control, Eli´s life is fulfilled. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Rose Lachlan. Audio sample: http://samples.audible.de/bk/acx0/080384/bk_acx0_080384_sample.mp3. In 1550-51, Bartolomé de las Casas and Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda, in the Valladolid Debate, attempted to settle the issue of whether or not Native Americans should have been enslaved, given sanction by the Pope. Both carefully argued their sides, las Casas stating emphatically, through his ´´Apología´´, that Native Americans were not all uncivilized and that only Canaanite tribes could be enslaved. What ensued was a heated, good-versus-evil argument that settled nothing and still allowed the Catholic Church and the Spanish government to condone and support the continued enslavement of native peoples. 1.
